Hello and Welcome to Wild Child Nature Play

I am Stephanie the founder of Wild Child Nature Play.

I am a Mum of 2 very outgoing adventurous boys who love being outdoors in nature.

I have developed Wild Child Nature Play as a way to promote, support and encourage children and families to connect with nature and meet like-minded people.

I am a Qualified Early Childhood Teacher with over 15 years’ experience working in various Kindergarten locations.

What you can expect at Wild Child Nature Play

Wild Child Nature Play is an outdoor playgroup promoting outdoor learning and engagement for children and families.

Children 12 months -6yrs and their families, can expect to learn, explore and connect with nature throughout each session.

Our bush location offers a wide range of enriching spaces which promote and support children and families to explore and learn about our environment.

My Self (Stephanie) as the facilitator will meet and welcome you on arrival to playgroup session.

There will be a range of experiences set up for you to explore with your child based on a weekly theme.

We start our session with free play which will allow time for children and families to develop a sense of belonging and feel safe in the environment.

Examples of some of the weekly nature play themes may be learning about out eco system, Ponding, sensory play, arts and crafts and music and movement. We will then move into songs, games and rhymes followed by snack and Storytime and then singing our goodbye song.

Parents/grandparents/carers are encouraged to engage with their child during the session.
